Australia's First Female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard has indicated that she has big plans for Australia's Immigration program, which will most likely favour skilled migrants. While the new Prime Minister has indicated that she will be working to control population growth, she also confirmed that immigration will continue to play a major role in Australia's population and work force planning.
